6 Week New Years Revolution Challenge 2013

 How to earn points

The contest starts Monday January 21st and ends Sunday March 3rd. Every contested will be measured and weighted in on individual basic between January 14th and  January 18th. The results will be announced on March 15th. Since everyone’s body type and fitness goal is different the contest is set up based on points and that way everybody will have a fair chance to win.  There will be individual winner and a winning team. Everyone will be separate into two teams – BLUE and GREEN.  The teams will be competing for points and each one will have a captain. The team with most overall points will be the winning team. For the individual contest everyone will earn points just for themselves. The prize for the individual contest is an iPad Mini and Massage and for the group contest the prize is a celebration party for the winning team, as well and the biggest reward NEW YOU in just 6 weeks.

Here are the different ways to earn points:

1. Attendance 1 point for every day you workout at the gym. More you workout more points you’ll get and better results you’ll see, simple as that.

• BONUS – earn 1 bonus point for your team by attending the challenge workout every Saturday. The winning team will receive double points. For example: green team has 10 people attending the challenge workout and blue team 8 people. Green team receive 10 points towards the team points (1 point for each person doing the challenge workout), and blue team 8 points. If green team wins, green team receive 10 additional points. (the challenge workout points are not counting towards the individual points).  If you are away that weekend, do the workout any time you want and submit a video or pictures as a proof and your team will get point for that workout, but no double points if your team wins.

2. Weight loss

• For every percent body weight lost – 5 points

• For every inch lost – 2 points

3. My Fitness Pal log in1 point for every day you log your meals. Nutrition is said to be up to 70% of a good fitness program. It is also said that those who are most successful at weight loss are those who write down everything they put into their mouths. I say it’s 100% hard work in the gym and 100% nutrition! Therefore logging your meals into MyFitnessPal will give you 1 point for every day you log in your meals.

4. Fitness Challenges –During the 6 weeks of the contest there will be assigned 12 individual (short, 3-5 minutes) challenges and 6 group challenges (every Saturday morning).

• Individual Challenges1 point for doing the challenge. The individual challenges will be short challenges and they will be done every Monday and Wednesday at the end of each workout. Every Sunday you’ll receive the individual challenges. If you miss individual challenge on Monday you can make up on Wednesday. For winning an individual challenge you’ll earn 3 extra points.

• Team Challenges1 point for attending the challenge workout. Earn 1 bonus point for your team by attending the challenge workout every Saturday. The winning team will receive double points. For example: green team has 10 people attending the challenge workout and blue team 8 people. 5. Facebook1 point a day. Check in with a comment to Facebook every time you attend your workouts, post a comment on our Facebook wall, share a comment or photo from our facebook page, and you’ll be rewarded with 1 point. If you post a comment or upload a picture on your Facebook wall don’t forget to tag us so you can get credit. You can chat in the groups with other members but ONLY comments posted on our Facebook wall will be counted as a points. You can make as many comments as you want but you’ll earn 1 point per day. 6. Write a Review for Top Level Fitness on Yelp, Google, Facebook or other sites provided – 3 points for each review. Maximum 1 per site.

7. Referrals5 points. I’ll have special 4 weeks promotion for you to make it bringing friends to the gym a no brainer. If your friends sign up after their trial period for any of our available programs, you’ll earn additional 5 points (and $50 Referral Bonus).

All categories will be posted on the boards and the boards will be separated on two teams. Write down on the board your points for: Facebook, Attendance, MyFitnessPal, Referrals, Reviews, Challenges every day, or any time you want before Saturday afternoon.

The week starts on Sunday ends on Saturday.

We will be collecting and calculating the points for the week on Saturday after the challenge workouts. The list with total individual and team points will be posted and sent to you on Sunday with the email for the weekly challenges.
